Job Description:
Research, identify, and onboard reliable suppliers and vendors for raw materials and parts.
Evaluate potential suppliers based on price, quality, production capacity, reliability, and compliance history.
Conduct supplier audits, plant visits, and manage RFPs/RFQs (Requests for Proposals/Quotations).
Contract Negotiation & Cost Control
Negotiate pricing, bulk discounts, payment terms, and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) with vendors.
Drive continuous cost-reduction initiatives through supplier consolidation, alternative material sourcing, and market trend analysis.
Safeguard company margins by keeping procurement expenses within the approved manufacturing budget.
Inventory & Demand Coordination
Collaborate closely with production, planning,



and warehouse teams to forecast material requirements based on manufacturing schedules.
Balance stock levels to prevent costly production stoppages (stockouts) or excess working capital tied up in unused inventory (overstocking).
Purchase Order (PO) Management & Execution
Oversee the generation, approval, dispatch, and tracking of purchase orders using Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) or procurement systems.
Maintain comprehensive records of all orders, invoices, vendor contracts, and deliveries for auditing and compliance.
