Job Title: OT Technician Job Summary : Key Responsibilities :
Prepare and set up the Operation Theatre for various surgical procedures.
Ensure all surgical instruments, consumables, and equipment are sterilized and ready before surgery.
Assist surgeons, anesthetists, and nursing staff during procedures.
Operate and monitor OT equipment such as anesthesia machines, cardiac monitors, suction apparatus, cautery machines, etc.
Maintain strict aseptic techniques and infection control standards.
Assist in patient positioning, shifting, and post-operative transfer.
Supervise junior OT technicians and support staff when required.
Ensure proper documentation of OT records and inventory management.
Coordinate with CSSD for instrument sterilization and supply management.
Handle emergency cases efficiently and calmly.
Ensure compliance with hospital safety and biomedical waste management protocols.

Eligibility Criteria :




Diploma / Degree in Operation Theatre Technology (OTT) or equivalent qualification.
Minimum 6 months -1 years of experience in a hospital OT (multi-specialty preferred).
Experience in handling major and minor surgical cases.
Solid knowledge of surgical instruments and sterilization processes.

Ability to work under pressure and in emergency situations

Valuable communication skills
Attention to detail and high level of responsibility

Work Conditions :
On-call availability for emergency surgeries
Hospital / Surgical Center
Rotational shifts including weekends, and emergencies

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
