PCB Design Engineer - Job Description

Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
Design and develop schematic diagrams and PCB layouts using tools like Altium Designer, KiCad, Eagle, or OrCAD.
Create multilayer PCB designs considering signal integrity, EMI/EMC, thermal management, and manufacturability.
Work closely with embedded, hardware, and mechanical teams for product development.
Generate Gerber files, BOM, fabrication, and assembly documentation.
Coordinate with PCB manufacturers and vendors for prototype and production support.
Perform PCB testing, debugging, and troubleshooting of hardware issues.
Ensure compliance with design standards and quality guidelines.
Support product improvements and engineering change requests (ECR/ECO).

Required Skills :
Robust knowledge of analog and digital circuit design.
Experience in high-speed PCB routing and multilayer board design.
Familiarity with microcontrollers,



power supply circuits, sensors, and communication protocols (UART, SPI, I2C, CAN, etc.).
Understanding of EMI/EMC considerations and DFM/DFT concepts.
Positive knowledge of PCB fabrication and assembly processes.
Ability to read datasheets and technical documentation effectively.

Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Electronics & Communication, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
Experience working on embedded systems or IoT-based products is an added advantage.
Basic knowledge of hardware testing instruments like Oscilloscope, Multimeter, Logic Analyzer, etc.

Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
Team player with solid communication abilities.
Ability to manage deadlines and multiple projects efficiently.

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
