Profile: Electrical Engineer

Experience:

- 2-4 years of experience in electrical maintenance in a manufacturing or process industry

Roles:

- Carry out preventive, predictive and breakdown maintenance of all electrical systems and equipment in the plant
- Maintain and troubleshoot motors, drives (VFD), MCC and PCC panels, transformers, DG sets and the power distribution network
- Ensure uninterrupted power supply to production machinery and minimise downtime
- Supervise electricians and technicians, and allocate daily maintenance jobs
- Handle HT/LT panels, cabling, earthing and lightning protection systems
- Monitor power consumption, power factor and energy efficiency, and suggest cost-saving measures




- Coordinate with the production and mechanical teams on machine breakdowns and installations
- Maintain maintenance records, equipment history, checklists and daily reports
- Ensure compliance with electrical safety norms, statutory requirements and plant safety standards
- Support current installations, plant expansion and electrical modification work
- Manage spare parts and consumables inventory and raise purchase requirements on time
- Coordinate with vendors and contractors for electrical repair and installation jobs

Qualification: B.E./B.Tech or Diploma in Electrical Engineering
