Chief Financial Officer

Description

The Chief Financial Officer at COMPANY NAME will lead the finance function and act as a strategic partner to the CEO and executive team. This role is responsible for driving financial strategy, maintaining financial integrity, optimizing capital structure, and ensuring scalable finance operations that support sustainable growth.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute financial strategy aligned with company objectives and growth plans
Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long range planning processes with rigor and accuracy
Oversee monthly and annual financial reporting and ensure compliance with IFRS and GAAP
Manage cash flow, liquidity planning, and working capital optimization
Direct treasury activities including debt and equity financing, banking relationships, and capital allocation
Drive mergers, acquisitions, divestitures and integration activities including due diligence and valuation
Establish and maintain robust internal controls and governance frameworks
Lead audit processes and liaise with external auditors and regulators
Partner with HR, operations and IT to implement scalable financial systems and ERP capabilities
Provide financial analysis and insights to support strategic decision making and performance management
Manage investor relations and communicate financial results to the board and stakeholders
Build, mentor and scale a high performing finance team and promote cross functional collaboration





Qualifications

Bachelor degree in Finance Accounting or related field; advanced degree such as MBA or professional qualification preferred
Proven experience as a senior finance leader, preferably as CFO or VP Finance in a complex growth environment
Strong track record of financial planning and analysis, reporting and compliance
Experience leading Mergers and Acquisitions and capital markets transactions
Demonstrated ability to implement and optimize ERP and financial systems
Excellent leadership skills with experience building and developing finance teams
Outstanding communication skills with ability to present to boards investors and senior stakeholders
High integrity and commitment to corporate governance and regulatory compliance
