Job Purpose

To manage and control fabrication production activities to achieve production targets, maintain quality standards, improve productivity, ensure safety compliance, and meet customer delivery schedules.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan and execute daily fabrication production activities.
- Manage welders, fabricators, fitters, grinder men, helpers, and supervisors.
- Allocate manpower, machines, tools, and materials effectively.
- Monitor cutting, bending, rolling, fit-up, welding, grinding, assembly, and dispatch activities.
- Ensure production as per drawings, specifications, and quality requirements.
- Control rework, welding defects, and productivity losses.
- Coordinate with Quality, Planning, Stores, and Maintenance departments.




- Support customer inspections and NDT activities.
- Maintain shopfloor discipline, safety, and housekeeping standards.
- Drive continuous improvement and cost reduction initiatives.

Technical Skills

- Welding processes (SMAW, MIG, FCAW, TIG)
- Structural and pressure vessel fabrication
