Responsibilities

- Powder Preparation & Blending Control
- Supervise accurate wet/dry mixing, blending, and chemical/mechanical processing parameters for silver composite powders (AgCdO, AgNi, and AgSnO₂).
- Compaction & Sintering Process Optimization
- Manage powder compaction (pressing), pre-sintering, and high-temperature sintering cycles to achieve desired density, hardness, and metallurgical bonding.
- Secondary Processing & Thermomechanical Control
- Oversee secondary operations such as re-pressing, extrusion, rolling, wire drawing, and stamping to maintain strict dimensional tolerances.
- Parameter Monitoring & Traceability
- Continuously monitor critical process variables (temperatures, atmosphere control, pressure, and sintering dwell times) to ensure batch-to-batch repeatability and defect reduction.
- Quality & Metallurgical Compliance
- Collaborate closely with metallurgy and QA labs to verify critical parameters including electrical conductivity (IACS), tensile strength, microstructure homogeneity, and porosity.
- Hazardous Material & EHS Governance
- Ensure strict adherence to safe chemical handling procedures, emission control, and environmental compliance, specifically for cadmium-based (AgCdO)



processing lines.
- Process Improvement & Lean Manufacturing
- Drive Six Sigma/Kaizen methodologies to reduce process scrap, improve material recovery rates of precious metals, and optimize cycle times.
