Job Description: Sales Manager

Department : Sales & Marketing

Reports To : General Manager / Director of Sales

Role Summary

Key Responsibilities

- Revenue Generation : Achieve and exceed monthly and annual sales targets through room sales, banquet bookings, and corporate events.
- Business Development : Proactively scout and develop recent business leads within the corporate, travel trade, and MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) segments.
- Account Management : Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing key accounts to ensure repeat business and high client satisfaction.
- Site Inspections : Conduct professional tours of the hotel facilities for prospective clients, showcasing our rooms, dining options, and event spaces.
- Market Analysis : Monitor competitor pricing, industry trends, and local market demand to adjust sales strategies accordingly.
- Contract Negotiation : Draft and negotiate corporate rate agreements and group contracts while ensuring profitability.
- Cross-Departmental Collaboration :



Work closely with the Front Office and Food & Beverage teams to ensure seamless execution of guest requirements and events.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Experience : 3-5 years of sales experience in the hospitality or service industry.
- Communication : Exceptional verbal and written communication skills for professional presentations and negotiations.
- Networking : Strong interpersonal skills with a proven ability to build rapport with diverse clients.
- Technical Proficiency : Familiarity with Hotel Management Software (PMS), CRM tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Analytical Ability : Strong understanding of revenue management principles and sales forecasting.
- Flexibility : Ability to work occasional evenings or weekends based on event schedules and client needs.

Education

- Bachelor’s degree in Hotel Management, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
