Role Purpose:





The Accounts Executive is responsible for day-to-day accounting and financial operations of the organization. The role involves maintaining accounting records, processing transactions, assisting with reconciliations, supporting month-end close activities, and ensuring compliance with accounting policies and statutory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

General Accounting:

- Record and maintain financial transactions in the accounting system.
- Prepare and post journal entries with supporting documentation.
- Assist in maintaining general ledger accounts and sub-ledgers.
- Ensure accurate and timely recording of business transactions. Confidential Information

Bank Reconciliations & Controls:
- Perform bank reconciliations on a periodic basis.
- Reconcile balance sheet accounts and investigate discrepancies.
- Maintain supporting schedules for key accounts.

Process Improvement & Controls:
- Maintain accounting records, invoices, and supporting documents.
- Assist with statutory audits, tax filings, and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Ensure adherence to company policies and accounting procedures.

Qualifications:

Education:

- Bachelors degree in accounting, Finance, Commerce, or related field
- CMA (US) preferred.

Experience:

- 4 to 5 years of experience in accounting and financial reporting in a multinational environment. Robust working knowledge of Indian Accounting Standards and US GAAP, including experience preparing or reviewing financial statements under multiple reporting frameworks
- Hands-on experience in GL reconciliations and month-close activities.

Technical Skills:

Strong knowledge of:

- Month close activities
- Indian Laws for Business
- Proficient in ERP systems, preferably Workday
- Advanced Excel and financial analysis skills.
