RM Insurance Broking Private Limited is seeking an experienced Insurance Broker to join its team in Jaipur, Rajasthan. The successful candidate will bring deep non-motor underwriting expertise to the role, assessing and placing non-motor risks, guiding junior team members, and supporting the sales and client servicing functions with sound technical judgement. This position is based in Rajasthan.

Key Responsibilities

Risk Assessment and Underwriting

- Evaluate and underwrite non-motor risks, including property, liability and marine lines, in line with company guidelines and prevailing market trends.
- Analyse risks, coverage requirements and pricing to determine appropriate terms and conditions for clients.
- Ensure compliance with internal underwriting policies and applicable external regulations.

Team Leadership and Mentorship
- Lead and mentor a team of junior underwriters, providing guidance and support on underwriting decisions and technical matters.
- Assist in training recent team members on underwriting processes and best practices.

Client and Stakeholder Interaction
- Support the sales and business development teams in understanding underwriting requirements and responding to complex client queries.
- Review and optimise pricing strategies, taking into account market conditions,



competition and emerging risks.

Claims Support and Coordination
- Collaborate with the claims team to ensure the underwriting process aligns with claims handling practices.
- Review claims trends and provide input on risk management strategies to help reduce future claims.

Market Research and Product Development
- Keep abreast of industry trends, competitor offerings and emerging risks to ensure underwriting practices remain competitive.
- Provide input into the development and refinement of insurance products.

Requirements

- Minimum of 10 years of experience in non-motor underwriting, with a focus on property, liability or marine lines of business.
- Strong analytical and risk assessment skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Demonstrated leadership and team management experience.
- In-depth knowledge of the insurance industry, market dynamics, regulatory requirements and insurance products.

Compensation and Location

- Annual package of 8 to 10 LPA.
- Location: Jaipur, Rajasthan.
