SAP FICO Finance Consultant

Role Summary

We are currently recruiting an experienced SAP FI/CO Consultant with 5 to 8 years of hands-on experience in implementing, configuring, enhancing, and supporting SAP S/4HANA Finance solutions. The successful candidate will exhibit robust functional expertise in core Financial Accounting and Controlling modules, alongside a thorough understanding of system integrations. This professional will be responsible for translating intricate business requirements into streamlined and efficient SAP configurations.

Location: Singhitarai/Mansa/Nellore

Key Responsibilities

- Direct and manage the full lifecycle of SAP S/4HANA initiatives, ranging from fresh implementations and global expansions to system upgrades and continuous support.

- Execute configuration and customization tasks for SAP FI/CO modules, encompassing General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Asset Accounting (AA), and Bank Accounting (BL) for FI; and Cost Center Accounting (CCA), Internal Orders (IO), Profit Center Accounting (PCA), and Product Costing (PC) for CO.

- Analyze business needs to design and structure effective financial processes and corresponding SAP solutions.

- Collaborate closely with finance teams and technical experts to ensure the successful deployment of business requirements.

- Manage the integration between FI/CO and other SAP functional areas, including Materials Management (MM), Sales and Distribution (SD), Production Planning (PP), and Plant Maintenance (PM).

- Provide production support by diagnosing issues, performing root cause analysis, and implementing corrective actions.

- Draft functional specifications for reports, interfaces, enhancements, and forms using tools such as IDOCs,



BAPIs, and User Exits.

- Develop test cases, coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and generate comprehensive documentation and training materials for end-users.

- Supervise project deliverables, assist various workstreams, and offer guidance and mentorship to junior consultants.

Requirements

- Hold a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.

- Demonstrate 5 to 8 years of specialized experience in SAP FI/CO consulting.

- Have successfully led or participated in at least one end-to-end SAP implementation project.

- Possess mandatory hands-on proficiency with SAP S/4HANA Finance.

- Show in-depth knowledge of S/4HANA features, including New General Ledger, Asset Accounting, Parallel Accounting, and Document Splitting.

- Exhibit advanced configuration capabilities in at least three FI/CO sub-modules.

- Maintain a solid understanding of accounting standards and core financial business processes.

- Have practical experience with integration points linking SAP SD, MM, and other logistics modules.

- Possess a proven track record of creating functional specifications for custom developments, reporting, interfaces, and system enhancements.

- Display strong analytical skills, problem-solving abilities, effective communication, and stakeholder management capabilities.

Preferred Skills

- Hold a valid SAP S/4HANA Finance certification.

- Have prior experience working with Central Finance.

- Demonstrate familiarity with SAP Group Reporting or BPC (Business Planning and Consolidation).

- Have exposure to SAP Fiori Finance applications.

- Possess experience within consulting agencies or client-facing roles.

- Understand Agile and Scrum methodologies.
