Job Description :

Provide Tier 1 support for Time Tracking, Absence and controlled data-management activity, acting as the team’s principal capability for accruals, validations, EIBs and data-quality investigation.

Key responsibilities

- Triage and resolve standard Time Tracking and Absence incidents.
- Investigate incorrect balances, eligibility outcomes, validations and leave-plan behaviour.
- Distinguish user or data issues from configuration defects requiring specialist escalation.
- Perform approved EIB loads in accordance with defined controls.
- Validate source files, load results, error outputs and resulting Workday data.
- Document approvals, execution steps, exceptions and post-load checks.
- Investigate recurring data-quality issues and identify probable root causes.
- Collaborate with payroll, HR operations and Tier 2/Tier 3 teams where issues cross service boundaries.




- Maintain knowledge articles for common time, absence and data-management scenarios.
- Support audit, governance and control requirements by maintaining complete records.
- Provide precise handovers for unresolved tickets and time-sensitive data activity.

Required experience

- Hands-on Workday Time Tracking and Absence support experience.
- Knowledge of accruals, eligibility, validations and leave-plan processing.
- Robust EIB and data-validation experience.
- Confidence working with structured data files and exception reports.
- Understanding of controlled production activity, approvals and audit trails.
- Previous AMS or production-support experience.
- Ability to investigate data problems methodically and explain findings clearly.
- Experience using an incident-management platform.

Preferred experience

- Workday Absence or Time Tracking certification.
- Core HCM support experience.
- Experience with high-volume employee-data updates.
- Exposure to payroll-related dependencies.
- Experience developing reconciliation or validation checklists for data loads.

- Accurate Time and Absence issue resolution.
- Controlled EIB execution with documented validation.
- Low rate of avoidable load errors or repeat data defects.
- Clear separation of Tier 1 issues from configuration or payroll escalations.
