Lead Software Engineer – Java / Full Stack

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Lead Software Engineer – Java / Full Stack to lead software development activities and contribute to the design, development, deployment, and management of scalable applications in cloud environments.

The role involves translating business requirements into effective technical solutions, building secure and maintainable systems, driving cloud-native application development, and providing technical guidance and mentoring to team members.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the design, development, testing, and deployment of software applications.
- Analyse business requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.
- Architect and implement scalable, secure, reliable, and maintainable systems.
- Develop, deploy, and manage applications in cloud environments.
- Identify optimal solutions and build scalable and efficient cloud-native applications.
- Develop strategies for the cost-effective delivery of reliable and scalable systems.
- Assess existing implementations, identify gaps, and recommend improvements.
- Provide a unified strategy covering:

- Transformation governance
- Automation
- Security
- Implementation
- Operations
- Analyse existing application and IT services portfolios.
- Develop approaches for migration, transformation, and automation.
- Create implementation roadmaps.
- Review code and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
- Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Architects, QA teams, and other stakeholders.




- Create thought leadership around technical solutions.
- Communicate technical ideas clearly through written documentation and diagrams.
- Provide technical guidance and mentoring to other team members.
