Job Role: OpenShift Administration / KVM Administrator
Experience: 5–8 Years (7+ preferred in IT infrastructure with KVM virtualization and OpenShift administration)

Resolve high-priority incidents through advanced troubleshooting, ensure SLA compliance, analyse system performance trends, and create mitigation measures by collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.

Triaging and resolution of tickets – Provide resolution to high-priority (P2) incident tickets, performing advanced troubleshooting and root cause analysis for timely closure.

- SLA Monitoring – Ensure SLA compliance for assigned technology areas and proactive escalation management.
- Performance tuning and optimization – Analyse system performance data, coordinate findings on system behaviour, support capacity planning initiatives.
- Reporting and Stakeholder Engagement – Participate in weekly/monthly service review meetings, provide updates on performance and issues, support stakeholder communication.
- KVM Administration: Manage and maintain KVM-based virtualization environments, including provisioning, monitoring, and troubleshooting VMs. Optimize KVM performance, ensure high availability, implement security best practices.
- OpenShift Administration: Deploy, configure,



and manage OpenShift clusters in on-premises and hybrid cloud environments. Monitor and troubleshoot workloads for high availability and performance. Manage networking, storage, and security configurations. Monitoring and Optimization: Implement monitoring solutions for KVM and OpenShift using Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK Stack. Analyze performance and recommend optimizations for resource utilization and cost efficiency.
- Collaboration and Documentation: Work with development, DevOps, and operations teams for seamless infrastructure/application integration. OpenShift Virtualization & Kubernetes – Hands-on deployment, administration, troubleshooting of OpenShift clusters.
- Linux & Networking – Robust Linux fundamentals, networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, load balancing).

7+ years IT infrastructure experience with focus on KVM virtualization and OpenShift administration.

- Hands-on OpenShift installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
- Solid understanding of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Linux system administration and shell scripting.
- Familiarity with networking concepts, storage solutions, and security best practices.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
