Description and Overview : The VCF Automation Senior Consultant will build automation blueprints, integrate with supporting systems, and ensure solutions are operationalized for Day-2 usage.Key Responsibilities : - Deploy and configure VCF Automation in VCF 9 environments.- Build automation blueprints for VM provisioning, approvals, and service requests.- Configure self-service catalogs, governance policies, and role-based access controls.- Integrate VCF Automation with VCF Operations, NSX, vSphere, and other integration components as needed.- Support integration with external systems (CI/CD, CMDB, API endpoints).- Troubleshoot automation failures and optimize performance.- Deliver documentation, runbooks, and knowledge transfer to customer teams.- Collaborate closely with the Architect to align with design and best practices.Required Skills & Experience : - 5+ years VMware delivery experience with a focus on automation.- Hands-on experience implementing vRealize Automation / VCF Automation.- Strong technical skills in scripting (VMware Orchestrator, PowerShell, Python, YAML) and API integrations.- Familiarity with VMware Cloud Foundation 5.2 and exposure to VCF 9.- Customer-facing professional services or consulting experience.- Experience with at least one hybrid cloud provisioning (VMware, AWS, Azure, GCP).- Familiarity with infrastructure-as-Code tools (Terraform, Ansible).Certifications : - Preferred - VMware Certified Professional - VMware Cloud Foundation Administrator (2V0-17.25)- Optional - VMware Cloud Foundation Architect (2V0-13.25)Skills Checklist : 1.
