Library Operations & Resource Management

Support the day-to-day operations of the school library.
Assist in cataloguing, classification, and organization of library resources.
Student Learning & Information Literacy Support

Guide students in the effective use of library resources and reference materials.

Promote reading habits and lifelong learning among students.
Assist in organizing library-related events and activities.
~ Digital Resources & Research Support

Support access to digital libraries, databases, and online learning resources.
Assist students and staff in utilizing digital research tools.
Student Wellbeing & Library Engagement

Foster a welcoming, inclusive, and student-friendly library environment.
Encourage responsible library usage and positive student behaviour.
Support communication regarding library programmes and initiatives.
Build positive relationships with stakeholders through library activities.

Encourage students to develop critical thinking and independent research skills.
Bachelor's Degree in Library Science (B.or Library & Information Science; Master's Degree preferred.

- 2+ years of experience in a school, academic, or institutional library setting.
- Strong knowledge of library management practices, cataloguing systems, and information services.
- Demonstrated expertise in managing library resources and supporting student learning.
- Experience working with library management software and digital learning resources.
- Proficiency in educational technology and digital information platforms.
- Professional, ethical, and student-centred approach to library services.
- Commitment to safeguarding, inclusion, student wellbeing, and continuous professional growth.
- Ability to work collaboratively with academic leaders and contribute to school-wide improvement initiatives.
