The Yellow Dwelling is an all natural, contemporary home furnishing brand. We are a fast growing D2C brand in our eighth year, with nine retail stores across Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad and Pune, and a Shopify webstore that serves customers across India.

We are looking for an Ecommerce Manager to fully own our Shopify store, its front end, and Promate, our custom app built on Shopify. You will also manage our presence on Amazon, Pepperfry and boutique marketplaces, keep the catalogue clean, train store teams, and work with our design team and tech agency to deliver what the business needs.

Shopify and Website

- Maintain the shopify store which includes cataloging, SKU management, banners, price & Hygiene checks
- Plan updates for collection launches and sales in the stipulated time.

Understand and master our custom app called Promate: find gaps, write requirements, and test every release before it goes live.

- Listings and Catalogue Hygiene
- Keep inventory and pricing in sync across Shopify, Promate and stores.

Review marketplace performance monthly and recommend actions to improve sales.
Run weekly audits of listings, pricing, inventory and site functionality, and close every issue found.




• Share a monthly report on website and marketplace performance.
Sales Team Training
• Train store teams on the website and Promate, and keep training guides and SOPs updated.
3 to 5 years in ecommerce, with at least 2 years managing a Shopify store end to end.

- Experience managing listings and stock on marketplaces such as Amazon and Pepperfry.
- Experience working with tech agencies, writing requirements and testing releases.
- High attention to detail and comfort training non technical teams.

Experience in handing e-commerce + offline operations in home furnishing, fashion, décor or D2C brands.

- Experience with an omnichannel setup where online and offline stores share inventory.
- Familiarity with Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity or similar tools.

Ecommerce Manager
