Impact and Contributions: Lead the design and delivery of enterprise identity and security platforms used across the bankEngineer cloud-native solutions using AWS, modern software practices and DevSecOps principles
Influence technical strategy while mentoring engineers and shaping the future of secure digital banking. As a Staff Software Engineer, you'll be recognised as a technical Subject Matter Expert, influencing technical strategy, architecture and engineering outcomes. You'll provide technical leadership across critical initiatives, consult on solution design and contribute to the evolution of our platforms, capabilities and engineering practices.
As a Full Cycle Engineer, you'll work across design, development, automation, integration, deployment and operational excellence. You'll lead initiatives that drive automation and optimisation outcomes while supporting the design and deployment of secure, scalable cloud-based services on AWS.
You'll also be part of a thriving engineering community through regular engineering guilds,



technical forums and agile delivery ceremonies that help shape how we work and grow.
Lead the design and delivery of complex enterprise solutions across discovery, architecture, development and deployment
Champion DevSecOps practices through automation, testing, observability and operational excellence
Have extensive experience leading end-to-end enterprise technology solutions across strategy, architecture, delivery and optimisation
Demonstrate deep expertise across the software development lifecycle and Agile delivery methodologies
Apply a robust DevSecOps mindset where security, quality, automation and operational ownership are embedded into engineering practices
Have experience delivering solutions in public cloud environments, particularly AWS
Experience in some of the following technologies will help set you up for success:
Front-end technologies including React, Angular and modern JavaScript frameworks
Microservices, event-driven architectures, databases and serverless technologies
Programming languages including Python, Java, JavaScript and TypeScript
Networking technologies including firewalls, network segmentation, API gateways and Infrastructure as Code
Containerisation technologies including Docker and Kubernetes
Cloud-native platforms and services within AWS
Exposure to Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning and Large Language Models is highly regarded

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology
