Agilent seeks an Application Engineer to support laboratory informatics customers across India using the OpenLab Sync platform. The role combines hands-on lab experience with software implementation, requiring analysis of customer workflows, platform configuration, and plugin development to solve complex laboratory challenges.
Responsibilities
Analyze customer laboratory needs and translate them into OpenLab Sync workflows
Configure the OpenLab Sync platform to align with specific lab requirements
Develop plugins to connect instruments or create custom forms and portals
Provide customer feedback to product design teams to inform future enhancements
Integrate laboratory tools into the OpenLab Sync integration framework
Requirements
University degree in Life Sciences, Bioinformatics,
Biotechnology, Chemistry, Computer Science, or related discipline
Hands-on laboratory experience in analytical chemistry, pharma, genomics, or similar environments
Experience with LIMS, ELN, LES, or laboratory workflow management systems
Proficiency in programming languages such as Java or Python with demonstrated coding skills
Direct experience working with customers, stakeholders, or cross-functional project teams
Full proficiency in English language
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with eagerness to learn current technologies
