GE HealthCare seeks a Mechanical Engineer to design and develop medical device products and solutions. The role involves CAD modeling, engineering analysis, prototype testing, and cross-functional collaboration to bring new products from concept through validation.

Responsibilities

Execute mechanical engineering activities for current product development and field projects

Develop and evaluate mechanical designs using tolerance analysis and design-for-manufacturing

Create 3D CAD models, drawings, and engineering documentation

Plan and execute prototype builds, testing, and design validation

Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, and regulatory teams to resolve technical issues

Requirements

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
- 2+ years of mechanical engineering experience in product development
- Proficiency with 3D CAD software, preferably Creo
- Knowledge of GD&T;, tolerance analysis, materials, and manufacturing processes
- Experience with design reviews, verification processes, and engineering change management
- Medical device or regulated industry experience preferred
