About the Role:We are looking for an experienced Enterprise Data Modeler with solid Midstream Oil - Gas domain expertise to design and govern data models supporting pipeline, gathering, processing, storage, commercial, regulatory, and analytics platforms. This role sits at the intersection of Data Architecture, Data Modeling, and Midstream Domain Expertise, working across Snowflake, dbt, Informatica IDMC, and Airflow.Key Responsibilities:- Design Conceptual, Logical, and Physical Data Models- Build ER Diagrams, Star Schemas, Data Vault, and 3NF models- Model midstream domains including pipeline scheduling, volumetric measurement, gathering/processing, terminal inventory, tariffs, and commercial contracts- Define and govern Bronze, Silver, and Gold data-layering strategy- Design Fact-Dimension models, SCD Type 1/2, and surrogate/natural keys- Develop conformed dimensions across business units- Partner with Data Engineering teams on dbt sources, staging models, and marts- Define Data Dictionary, Metadata, Lineage,



and Business Definitions- Reconcile source systems into conformed enterprise data models- Support Master Data Management for assets, meters, contracts, counterparties, and tariff schedules- Contribute to Data Governance, Data Quality, and Modeling StandardsMandatory Skills:- Midstream Oil - Gas Domain expertise- 5+ years of Data Modeling experience- Conceptual, Logical, and Physical Data Modeling- ERD, Star Schema, Data Vault, 3NF- Fact-Dimension Design, SCD Type 1-2- Strong SQL proficiency- Snowflake or equivalent cloud data warehouse- dbt or comparable transformation framework- Data Dictionary, Metadata, Lineage, Data Quality- Experience with data modeling tools such as erwin, ER/Studio, SqlDBM, or dbdiagramGood to Have:- Informatica IDMC, CDC, ETL-ELT- Airflow, DAG orchestration- Medallion, Lakehouse Architecture- Data Governance, Data Stewardship- Experience with batch vs. CDC ingestion patterns (ref:hirist.tech)
