Role purposeDevelop new customers and generate sales of packaging automation, packaging machinery and product inspection systems across the assigned territory.Key responsibilitiesIdentify and acquire current customers across food processing, bakery, confectionery, pharmaceuticals, personal care, printing and paper conversion, and other relevant manufacturing industries.Conduct factory visits to understand production processes, packaging requirements and automation opportunities.Recommend suitable machinery, including horizontal flow wrappers, shrink-wrapping systems, roll bag machines, case taping and strapping systems, pallet stretch wrappers, metal detectors, checkweighers and X-ray inspection systems.Generate enquiries through cold calling, customer visits, referrals, industry networks and other business-development activities.Coordinate with technical teams and principals to prepare appropriate machine specifications and commercial quotations.Follow up on enquiries, quotations, negotiations, trials and customer approvals to convert opportunities into orders.Develop relationships with purchase, production, engineering,



quality and plant-management teams.Maintain a sales pipeline, prepare periodic reports and achieve assigned sales and collection targets.Coordinate with service and commissioning teams to support customer satisfaction and repeat business. Candidate profileEducation: Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, Mechatronics or a related engineering discipline.Experience: 2–5 years in B2B technical sales, preferably involving industrial machinery, packaging equipment, automation or inspection systems.Strong prospecting, presentation, negotiation and follow-up skills.Ability to understand technical requirements and explain equipment benefits to industrial customers.Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.Proficiency in MS Office and CRM or sales reporting tools.
