Our client is a listed manufacturer of precision cutting tools used across engineering and automotive industries. The company is part of a large, well-established Indian business group with a long legacy in manufacturing.

About the role

You will own the payables and fixed asset control function of a listed manufacturing company. The role sits at the centre of vendor payments, statutory audits and internal financial controls, with direct visibility to senior management and the Board.

Key responsibilities

- Manage day-to-day Accounts Payable, including vendor bill booking, vendor ageing and payments
- Ensure timely booking and payment of MSME supplier bills in line with statutory timelines
- Track and resolve vendor debit balances and knock them off against open items
- Book and control related party transactions with group companies
- Conduct physical verification of fixed assets and maintain supporting records




- Prepare audit schedules and coordinate with statutory and internal auditors
- Implement and maintain Internal Financial Controls (IFC) for Accounts Payable and fixed asset management
- Process import payments and review IDMS entries for timely closure
- Prepare supporting data for monthly financial reporting and Board meetings
- Prepare MIS reports for management

What we are looking for
- Qualified Chartered Accountant
- Hands-on experience owning Accounts Payable end to end in a corporate (non-audit-firm) role
- Working knowledge of MSME payment compliance, fixed asset accounting and related party transactions
- Experience preparing audit schedules and working with IFC frameworks
- Exposure to import payments and IDMS
- Strong Excel and MIS reporting skills

Valuable to have: manufacturing or engineering industry background, listed company experience, SAP FICO exposure.
