Key Responsibilities

Collection Operations: Manage and monitor collection activities across the assigned territory to ensure achievement of monthly recovery targets and business objectives.

Team Management: Lead, guide, and supervise field collection executives and team leaders to ensure productivity and operational efficiency.

Target Achievement: Develop and implement effective collection strategies to reduce overdue accounts, improve recovery rates, and minimize delinquency.

Performance Monitoring: Track daily, weekly, and monthly collection performance through MIS reports, dashboards, and other performance indicators.

Territory Management: Identify collection opportunities, analyze overdue portfolios, and allocate resources effectively across the assigned locations.

Stakeholder Coordination: Coordinate with Circle Managers, business teams, operations, and other internal stakeholders to resolve collection-related issues.

Field Operations: Conduct regular field visits to monitor team performance, validate collection activities, and ensure adherence to operational processes.

Compliance and Documentation: Ensure that all collection activities are conducted ethically and in accordance with company policies, customer service standards, and applicable RBI guidelines.

Issue Resolution: Address customer escalations, payment-related discrepancies, and operational challenges in a timely manner.

Reporting and Analysis:



Prepare and review collection MIS, analyze performance gaps, and recommend corrective actions to improve recovery efficiency.

Agency Management: Coordinate with third-party collection agencies, wherever applicable, to monitor performance and ensure compliance with defined service standards.

Process Improvement: Identify operational gaps and implement measures to improve collection productivity, cost efficiency, and overall portfolio performance.

Educational Qualification

Graduate in any discipline from a recognized university.

Relevant certifications in collections, banking, or financial services will be an added advantage.

Experience

3–7 years of relevant experience in collections, preferably in banking, NBFCs, financial services, or loan recovery operations.

Prior experience in managing field collection teams and handling an assigned territory is preferred.

Required Skills

Robust leadership and team management abilities.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.

Good understanding of collection processes, overdue management, and recovery strategies.

Proficiency in MS Excel, MIS reporting, and performance analysis.

Ability to achieve targets and manage multiple locations.

Strong coordination, decision-making, and stakeholder management skills.

Willingness to travel within the assigned territory as required.
