Job Purpose
We are looking for a Storage & Backup Administrator with 5–6 years of experience in managing enterprise storage, backup, disaster recovery, and cloud-based data protection environments. The candidate should have solid expertise in storage platforms, backup solutions, and cloud technologies.
Duties and Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
• Administer and manage SAN, NAS, and enterprise storage platforms.
• Manage backup and recovery solutions such as Veeam, NetBackup, or Cohesity.
• Monitor backup jobs, perform restores, and ensure backup success rates.
• Implement and support DR, replication, and business continuity processes.
• Manage cloud storage and backup solutions in AWS and Azure environments.
• Perform capacity planning, performance tuning, and infrastructure monitoring.
• Troubleshoot storage, backup, and cloud-related issues.
• Maintain documentation, compliance, and security standards.




Required Qualifications and Experience
Required Skills
• Storage: NetApp, HPE, Pure Storage, IBM Storage (or equivalent)
• Backup: Veeam, NetBackup, Commvault, Rubrik, Cohesity
• Cloud: AWS, Azure
• Virtualization: VMware, Hyper-V
• OS: Windows Server, Linux
• Scripting: PowerShell/Shell scripting
• Knowledge of DR, replication, ransomware protection, and data lifecycle management
Preferred Certifications
• VMCE (Veeam)
• NetBackup Certification
• NetApp NCDA
• Azure AZ-104
• AWS Solutions Architect Associate
Qualification
• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
• 5–6 years of hands-on experience in Storage, Backup, and Cloud Administration.
