About the Role

As a IT Support Engineers and Project Trainees, you’ll be trained and mentored to support startups working across AI, Cybersecurity, Data Center and IT Infrastructure domains. The training includes hands-on work in IT Support, Hardware Support, Operating System (OS) Support, Networking, Network Security and Troubleshooting. Beyond technical project work, you’ll get structured exposure to the broader startup and research ecosystem, working alongside founders, mentors and technical teams building real products. High-performing trainees may move into full-time roles with supported startups in IT Support, Networking, IT Infrastructure or Cybersecurity.

Key Responsibilities

- Report to the Project Training Coordinator (Professor)
- Support portfolio startups across AI, Cybersecurity, and Data Center functions
- Provide IT Support and Helpdesk assistance to startup teams (L1/L2 technical support)
- Handle Hardware Support: installing, configuring, maintaining and upgrading desktops, laptops, servers, printers and peripherals
- Provide OS Support: installing, configuring and maintaining Windows, Linux and macOS, including patches, updates and user accounts
- Set up and maintain Networking: LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, routers, switches, IP addressing, DNS, DHCP and VPN
- Support Network Security: firewalls, antivirus/endpoint protection, access control, network monitoring and security best practices
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, network and connectivity issues, and do root cause analysis
- Help with Data Center operations, including server setup, rack management, backups and system monitoring
- Assist with research, documentation and technical execution on live projects, including IT asset records and support tickets
- Take part in structured training modules covering the startup and research ecosystem
- Work with mentors,



founders and cross-functional project teams
- You will be required to travel to client locations across cities to provide onsite support also

Eligibility / Desired Candidate Profile

- Graduate degree or Polytechnic Diploma (Engineering graduates preferred; CS, IT, ECE, EE or related branches an advantage)
- Minimum 90% in Mathematics and Science in Class 10 or Class 12
- Strong interest in AI, Cybersecurity, Data Center, IT Support or Networking technologies
- Basic knowledge of computer hardware, operating systems and networking concepts is preferred
- Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, CCNA or MCSE are a plus (not mandatory)
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills with a troubleshooting mindset
- Willingness to commit to a 2-year structured training program
