About the Role

We are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic Functional Consultant who understands accounting fundamentals, business operations, and business processes.

The candidate will be responsible for understanding business requirements, analysing existing workflows, and configuring business processes and automation within software applications.

This role requires someone who is interested in combining accounting knowledge, business logic, and technology to help businesses improve their operational efficiency.

Candidate Requirements & Expectations

- Educational Background: M.Com, CA Inter, B.Com, or any relevant accounting and finance qualification.
- Accounting Knowledge: Valuable understanding of accounting concepts, financial terminology, and basic business transactions.
- Business Process Understanding: Ability to understand business fundamentals, operational workflows, and the logic behind business activities.
- Analytical Thinking: Ability to analyse business requirements and translate them into logical processes and software configurations.
- Communication Skills: Ability to communicate with clients, understand their queries, and explain software functionalities and processes to end users.
- Learning Attitude: Self-motivated, eager to learn new technologies, and capable of independent learning.
- Technology Adaptability: Willingness to work with ERP software,



business applications, workflow automation, and AI tools.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to understand challenges, identify practical solutions, and think logically.
- Personality: Dynamic personality, positive attitude, ownership mindset, and willingness to take responsibility.

Preferred Candidates

- Candidates with previous experience in CA firms, accounting firms, or finance-related organisations will be highly preferred.
- Candidates who have worked with accounting software or ERP applications will have an added advantage.
- Freshers with strong accounting fundamentals, logical thinking, and a willingness to learn are also encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

- Understand client business requirements and existing business processes.
- Analyse business workflows and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Configure business processes and workflows in ERP and business software.
- Assist in implementing business automation and software solutions.
- Communicate with clients and understand their operational challenges.
- Provide functional guidance and support to end users.
- Prepare process documentation and assist with user training.
- Continuously explore new technologies, software features, and AI tools to improve business processes.
