Role Summary

The Security Manger will lead the complete security operations for Jain Farms’ large gated community

at Bagalur. The role requires a highly disciplined ex-serviceman with solid leadership, field supervision

and crisis-management experience, capable of managing security across a large estate and responding to

emergencies at any time.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement and enforce security policies, procedures and site protocols.

• Manage and supervise security guards, supervisors, duty rosters and deployment across the property.

• Ensure 24/7 security coverage across the entire project, including perimeter and vulnerable areas.

• Monitor entry and exit points, visitor registration, vehicle movement and access control.

• Coordinate with local police and relevant authorities whenever required.

• Respond to and manage critical incidents, including theft, fire, trespassing, unauthorised access and

other emergencies.

• Oversee CCTV systems, alarms, access-control systems and related security infrastructure.

• Conduct regular security patrols, risk assessments, audits and inspections; recommend corrective

actions.

• Train the security team, maintain discipline and ensure adherence to operating procedures.

• Maintain incident logs and submit regular security and operations reports to management.

Mandatory Requirements

• Must be an ex-serviceman from the Armed Forces, with a strong preference for the Indian Army,





particularly Infantry or Para Commando backgrounds.

• Must have handled critical situations and demonstrate sound judgement, operational discipline and

crisis-management capability.

• Must have experience managing end-to-end security operations for a manufacturing or industrial

facility, or a large estate / property of more than 500 acres.

• Preferable if he holds a valid revolver licence and possess a duly licensed weapon, with all possession

and use subject to applicable law and site policy.

• Must own a bike and be able to use it for movement and patrols across the property.

• Must be willing to reside at the project site in Bagalur; on-site stay is mandatory.

• Must be physically fit, disciplined, dependable and available to respond to emergencies at any time.

• Must have excellent Leadership and Communication skills as this role involves a lot of liasioning

work with Bureaucrats (IAS and IPS officers)

• Must be well versed in handling a team of 20 to 25 people under him

• Must know regional languages mainly Kannada, Tamil, Telugu as the role is based in

Bangalore

Preferred Experience & Competencies

• 10+ years of armed service experience, preferably with relevant security leadership responsibilities.

• Experience handling large properties, gated layouts, townships, industrial sites or extensive estate

land.

• Strong team leadership, communication, incident reporting and coordination skills.

• Ability to plan security coverage, identify risks and maintain high standards of vigilance.
