Harbinger Systems is looking for a Senior Cloud Operations Engineer to take ownership of the reliability, performance, and cost-efficiency of our Microsoft Azure infrastructure. This role sits at the critical intersection of CloudOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), and FinOps . You will be responsible for driving automated deployments, end-to-end monitoring, and continuous cloud spend optimization.

Key Responsibilities

- Cloud Deployments & IaC : Design and manage Azure resources using Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates. You will own CI/CD integrations via Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions and manage Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) lifecycles.
- Monitoring & Observability : Build comprehensive observability using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights. You will define SLI/SLO/SLA targets, author KQL queries, and manage incident routing via tools like PagerDuty or OpsGenie.
- FinOps & Cost Optimization : Analyze billing data to identify over-provisioned resources. Your goal is to drive a 20-30% month-on-month cost reduction through rightsizing, reserved instances, and automation without sacrificing service reliability.




- Governance & Security : Implement Azure Landing Zones and enforce RBAC and Azure Policy guardrails to maintain a high security and compliance posture.

Required Qualifications & Skills

- Experience : 4-6 years in cloud/infrastructure engineering, with at least 3 years specifically hands-on with Microsoft Azure .

- Education : Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.

- Core Technical Skills :

- Infrastructure as Code : Production-grade Terraform (preferred), Bicep, or ARM.

- Containers : Docker, Kubernetes (AKS), and Helm charts.

- Networking : VNet peering, Azure Firewall, Front Door, and Private Endpoints.

- Scripting : Proficiency in PowerShell, Bash, or Python.

- Proven Track Record : Experience managing production environments at scale (500+ VMs or equivalent) and leading on-call SRE rotations.

Pay: ₹302,855.33 - ₹485,935.20 per year
