- About the Role :_

We are looking for an energetic and technically inclined Field Sales Engineer who will regularly travel to factories and industrial companies across Chennai and surrounding Industrial areas.

Key Responsibilities

- Visit factories, OEMs, and other industrial customers across Chennai and surrounding industrial areas.
- Develop new customers through field visits, references, enquiries and prospecting.
- Maintain and grow relationships with existing McVan's customers.
- Recommend suitable products and solutions from SMC, Magnaflux, Bradma and other Mcvan product lines.
- Coordinate with internal teams, product specialists and suppliers to prepare technical and commercial proposals.
- Prepare quotations and follow up with customers regarding offers, orders and deliveries.
- Conduct regular follow-ups to convert enquiries into orders.
- Provide basic technical guidance and coordinate demonstrations, trials, installation or service support where required.
- Maintain accurate records of customer visits, enquiries, quotations and sales opportunities.
- Work toward agreed sales targets and customer-development objectives.
- Educational Qualification :_
- Mechanical Engineering




- Mechatronics Engineering
- Electrical and Electronics Engineering
- Electronics and Communication Engineering
- Automobile Engineering or a related technical discipline
- Willingness to travel regularly and visit factories throughout the Chennai region.
- A two-wheeler and valid driving licence are required.
- Comfortable meeting new customers and communicating with engineers, maintenance personnel, purchase departments, and management.
- Ability and willingness to learn multiple technical product ranges.
- Basic mechanical, electrical or industrial-engineering knowledge.
- Working proficiency in Tamil and English.
- Self-motivated, organised and comfortable working independently in the field.
- Preferred Experience :_

The following will be considered an advantage:

- Previous experience in industrial or technical sales.
- Knowledge of pneumatics, industrial automation, NDT, marking systems or manufacturing equipment.
- Experience working with SMC or similar pneumatic-product brands.
- Experience in PLCs, sensors, control panels, robotics, motion systems, or industrial automation deployment.
- A genuine interest in developing industrial automation and systems-integration capabilities.

Relevant experience is preferred, but fresh diploma and engineering graduates with solid communication skills, technical aptitude, and an interest in field sales may also apply .

The compensation package will include:

- Fixed monthly salary

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
