Role Description The Legal Counsel will be responsible for providing comprehensive legal support to the firm’s clients on a full-time, on-site basis in Navi Mumbai. Day-to-day responsibilities include reviewing, drafting, and negotiating contracts and other legal documents, as well as identifying and addressing legal issues across matters such as commercial transactions, regulatory compliance, and dispute prevention. The role involves conducting legal research, preparing opinions, and offering clear legal advice to internal teams and clients. The Legal Counsel will coordinate with external stakeholders, support litigation and arbitration matters when required, and help maintain standardized templates, policies,



and processes to enhance the firm’s service quality.
Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Law, with the ability to interpret statutes, case law, and regulations relevant to the firm’s practice areas.
- Proficiency in Contract Negotiation, including drafting, reviewing, and revising agreements to manage risk and protect client interests.
- Experience in Legal Document Preparation, such as contracts, notices, legal opinions, pleadings, and internal policy documents.
- Ability to analyze and manage Legal Issues, including assessing risk, identifying implications, and recommending practical solutions.
- Capability to provide clear, business-oriented Legal Advice to clients and internal stakeholders, both in writing and verbally.
- Bachelor’s degree in law (LL.B) from an accredited institution; enrollment with the applicable Bar Council is preferred.
- Prior experience in a law firm or corporate legal department, particularly in commercial or contractual matters, is an advantage.
- Strong research, analytical, and drafting skills, with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple matters simultaneously.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with a professional approach to client service and confidentiality.
