Role Description The Estimation Engineer role is a full-time, on-site position based in Current Delhi. The Estimation Engineer will be responsible for preparing detailed estimates, including Bills of Quantities (BOQs), based on project drawings, specifications, and client requirements. Daily activities include analyzing project scope, coordinating with engineering and project teams, conducting cost analyses, and updating estimation documents to reflect current market rates. The role also involves supporting bid preparation, participating in negotiations with vendors or contractors, and conducting technical and commercial comparisons of offers.



The Estimation Engineer will work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure accurate, timely estimates and contribute to effective project planning and budgeting.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in BOQ preparation and Project Estimation for engineering and infrastructure projects.
- Candidates should possess foundational knowledge in Civil Engineering or related disciplines to understand drawings, specifications, and construction practices.
- Candidates should possess effective Negotiation skills for dealing with vendors, contractors, and internal stakeholders.
- Candidates should possess solid Research skills for gathering market rates, technical data, and benchmarking cost information.
- Candidates should possess strong analytical and numerical abilities, with attention to detail in cost calculations and documentation.
- Candidates should possess proficiency in MS Excel and estimation or project management software; familiarity with CAD tools is an added advantage.
- Candidates should possess good written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- A diploma or degree in Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field is preferred; relevant experience in estimation or tendering will be an advantage.
