Role Description The Head Production, Rigid Packaging is a full-time, on-site leadership role based in Recent Delhi. This role oversees end-to-end production operations for rigid packaging, including planning, scheduling, and monitoring manufacturing activities to meet volume, quality, and cost targets. The person in this position will manage and mentor production teams, ensure adherence to safety and compliance standards, and coordinate with maintenance, quality, and supply chain functions to minimize downtime and optimize throughput. Daily responsibilities include reviewing production reports, addressing process bottlenecks, implementing continuous improvement initiatives, and ensuring efficient use of materials and resources.



The role also involves collaborating with senior management on capacity planning, technology upgrades, and strategic projects to enhance plant performance.

Qualifications

- Strong production management experience in rigid packaging or related manufacturing environments, with proven ability to oversee large-scale operations.
- Demonstrated leadership skills, including team management, performance coaching, and the ability to build a safe, inclusive, and collaborative work culture.
- Solid knowledge of manufacturing processes, equipment, and preventive maintenance practices relevant to rigid packaging.
- Experience with quality systems, process control, and continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma, 5S).
- Ability to analyze production data, manage budgets, and make data-informed decisions to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
- Familiarity with health, safety, and environmental regulations applicable to packaging and manufacturing operations.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills to coordinate effectively with cross-functional teams and senior leadership.
- Engineering or technical degree in a relevant field (e.g., Mechanical, Industrial, Production) preferred; substantial relevant experience may also be considered.
