Mother Teacher (Pre-Primary / Primary)

Location :Shraddha Children's Academy, Padur/Tambaram/Kottivakkam

Reporting To : The Principal

Qualification & Experience

- Graduate in any discipline

- D.El.Ed / Montessori / ECCE / B.Ed - Preferred :

- Minimum 1-4 years of experience in Pre-Primary or Primary education

- Experience in CBSE / structured school environment - Preferred

Key ResponsibilitiesClassroom Teaching & Care

- Act as the primary caregiver and class teacher for assigned class
- Create a warm, safe, and nurturing classroom environment
- Support children’s emotional, social, and moral development

Academic Planning

- Plan and implement age-appropriate, activity-based lesson plans :

- Use stories, rhymes, games, worksheets, and hands-on activities

- Monitor learning outcomes and maintain student portfolios

Student Care & Discipline

- Observe and support individual learning and behavioral needs
- Ensure personal hygiene, safety, and well-being of students
- Instill good habits, values, and discipline

Parent Communication

- Maintain regular communication with parents regarding progress and well-being
- Participate in parent-teacher meetings (PTMs) and counseling sessions

Assessment & Documentation





- Conduct continuous assessments and maintain records
- Prepare report cards and anecdotal records as per school norms

School Activities & Compliance

- Participate in school events, celebrations, assemblies, and trainings
- Follow school policies, child safety norms, and CBSE guidelines.
