The store combines traditional values with modern digital technologies to deliver accurate prescriptions and high-quality eyewear solutions. Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Optometrist role based in Nagercoil. The Optometrist will perform comprehensive eye examinations, including refraction, assessment of visual acuity, and evaluation of ocular health. Responsibilities include prescribing lenses, advising on suitable frames and contact lenses, and collaborating with optical staff to ensure accurate dispensing. The role involves documenting clinical findings, maintaining patient records, educating patients on eye health and preventive care, and supporting store operations as needed.



The Optometrist will work closely with the team to provide a high standard of customer service and contribute to the store's reputation for quality eye care.

Formal qualification in Optometry (Bachelor's or diploma in Optometry) and valid registration or license as required by local regulations.

Strong clinical skills in refraction, eye examinations, diagnosis of common eye conditions, and prescription of corrective lenses.

Ability to use digital eye-testing and dispensing equipment, with comfort in working in a technology-enabled optical setting.

Customer service and communication skills to explain findings clearly, counsel patients on eyewear and eye health, and build patient trust.

Willingness to work on-site in Nagercoil, collaborate in a team environment, and adapt to evolving clinical and retail practices.

Prior experience in an optical store or eye clinic is an advantage; familiarity with local languages is beneficial.
