This is an independent consulting role with our client, who is looking for a Junior Data Scientist to support data-driven decision-making across manufacturing, chemical, and energy operations. The ideal candidate will have a robust foundation in data cleaning, statistical modelling, and basic AI/ML techniques, along with proficiency in Python.
Candidates with exposure to Generative AI (GenAI) and experience working with industrial or operational datasets will have an added advantage.
Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) to identify trends, patterns, anomalies, and actionable insights.
Support model evaluation, validation, performance monitoring, and documentation.




Explore and contribute to AI/ML and Generative AI use cases where applicable.

0–5 years of relevant experience in Data Science, Data Analytics, Machine Learning, or a related field.

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Strong fundamentals in data cleaning, data processing, and exploratory data analysis.
- Basic understanding of statistical modelling and machine learning algorithms.
- Hands-on proficiency in Python for data analysis and model development.
