Job Title: Business Development Executive
Mohali (Onsite) | Full-Time | 5 days Working (Mon-Fri)
Afternoon & Evening Shift (2-12 PM and 4 PM- 2 AM)
Note: This role requires flexibility to work afternoon and night shifts to effectively engage with clients across different time zones. Candidates should be comfortable working in rotational or fixed shifts based on business requirements. Work from Home will be available for late hours.

We are looking for a proactive and result-oriented Business Development Executive (Upwork Bidder) to join our growing team. The ideal candidate should have 1+ years of experience in generating business through Upwork and other freelance platforms. You will be responsible for identifying recent opportunities, crafting winning proposals, building strong client relationships, and contributing to the company's growth.
Identify and bid on relevant projects on Upwork and other freelance marketplaces.
Prepare customized, persuasive, and high-quality proposals based on client requirements.
Communicate professionally with prospective clients and respond promptly to project inquiries.
Qualify leads, negotiate project requirements, and convert opportunities into successful deals.
Coordinate with the design, development,



and project management teams to understand project scope and prepare accurate proposals.
Maintain a healthy sales pipeline and regularly follow up with potential clients.
Track proposals, leads, client interactions, and project conversions using spreadsheets or CRM tools.
Build long-term relationships with clients to encourage repeat business.
Stay updated with Upwork algorithms, bidding strategies, platform policies, and industry trends.
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, IT, or a related field (preferred).

- 1+ years of hands-on experience in Upwork bidding or business development through freelance marketplaces.
- Proven experience in generating leads and acquiring projects through Upwork.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
- Strong proposal writing, negotiation, and client relationship management skills.
- Basic understanding of UI/UX Design, Web Development, Mobile App Development, Digital Marketing, AI, or other IT services .

Familiarity with CRM tools, Google Sheets, or Microsoft Excel.
Knowledge of sales techniques, lead nurturing, and client engagement strategies.
Experience working with agencies or software development companies is an advantage.
