We are looking for a proactive and result-oriented Placement Officer to manage student placements, build strong relationships with corporate partners, and facilitate employment opportunities for students and graduates. The ideal candidate should have strong communication, networking, and relationship management skills, along with a proven ability to connect talent with suitable career opportunities.
Plan and execute placement activities for students and graduates, ensuring alignment with their qualifications, skills, and career aspirations.
Build and maintain relationships with companies, recruiters, HR professionals, and industry partners to generate placement opportunities.
Employer Outreach: Identify potential employers, conduct outreach activities, and develop partnerships for recruitment drives, internships, and job openings.
Student Career Support: Organize campus recruitment drives, employer interactions, interviews,



and recruitment-related events.
Job Opportunity Management: Source suitable vacancies, match student profiles with employer requirements, and coordinate interview schedules and follow-ups.
Industry Networking: Stay updated on industry hiring trends, employer expectations, and emerging career opportunities relevant to commerce and finance professionals.
Internal Coordination: Collaborate with academic teams, mentors, and campus operations teams to ensure students are placement-ready.
Required Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Commerce, or a related field. A Master's degree is an added advantage.
Minimum 4 years of experience in placements, campus recruitment, corporate relations, talent acquisition, or career services.
Experience in building employer networks and generating job opportunities for students or job seekers.
Experience handling placement drives, recruitment coordination, and placement reporting.
Knowledge of recruitment processes, interview coordination, and candidate evaluation.
Strong networking, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities.
Proficiency in MS Excel, Google Sheets, and placement or recruitment tracking systems.
