Role: RTR SME

Location: Kolkata
Experience: 5 to 8 Years
Band: BPO 3
Salary: Up to 9 LPA

Education:

- Minimum 15 years of regular full time education (10+2+3)

- B.Com, M.Com, CA (Preferred) or Bachelor's/Master's in Finance & Accounting

- ERP certification or strong working knowledge of SAP/JD Edwards is preferred

Must-Have Skills:

- 5–8 years of Record to Report (RTR) experience

- Minimum 3 years of experience as an RTR Subject Matter Expert (SME)

- Strong knowledge of Journal Entries, Month-End Close, Reconciliations, Fixed Assets & Lease Accounting

- Hands-on experience with SAP or JD Edwards (JDE)

- Advanced MS Excel skills (VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, SUMIFS, IF, COUNTIFS, etc.)

- Lean Six Sigma certified or trained (Black Belt preferred)

Job Responsibilities:

- Perform complex RTR activities including Journal Entries, Month-End Close, Reporting, Fixed Assets, Lease Accounting, and Balance Sheet Reconciliations.

- Review work, ensure quality,



prepare reports and dashboards, and coordinate with stakeholders.

- Identify process improvement opportunities and support continuous improvement initiatives.

- Mentor team members and ensure compliance with customer requirements and internal controls.

Preferred Profile:

- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

- Ability to work under strict timelines and month-end pressure.

- Willing to work from the office 5 days a week, including one weekend during Month-End Close.
