Experience : 8+ Years.Key Responsibilities : SAP BASIS & Landscape Management : - Administer, install, and upgrade SAP environments, including S/4HANA, ECC, and BW/4HANA.- Perform regular system copies, client administration, kernel updates, and support package upgrades.- Monitor system performance and manage tuning, database administration, and related technical activities.- Maintain transport routes through the Transport Management System (TMS) and resolve transport errors.- Support project/change activities such as temporary parallel landscapes, migrations to S/4HANA, and enhancement Package implementations, including blueprinting, landscape sizing, and testing.- Handle BAU/support activities including incident resolution (e.g., failed background jobs and locked objects), system tuning, and regular housekeeping.SAP Solution Manager (SolMan) Administration : - Configure and administer SAP Solution Manager.- Use SolMan tools for technical system monitoring, alerting, and root-cause analysis.- Maintain system documentation and perform early-watch checks within the SolMan framework.Change Request Management (ChaRM) : - Configure and govern end-to-end ChaRM workflows, including Normal Changes, Urgent Changes, and Transport of Copies, across multi-system landscapes.- Ensure audit compliance, track transport workflows, and implement approval matrices to meet governance standards (e.g., SOX compliance).- Handle parallel transport cycles and production-parallel UAT landscapes.- Train and support functional consultants and developers on proper ChaRM procedures.System Administration & Maintenance :



- Perform daily monitoring and health checks of work processes, system logs, short dumps, locks, and disk space.- Apply support packages and SAP Notes, and perform kernel upgrades and patching.- Plan and schedule background jobs during off-peak hours to minimize performance impact.- Manage client copies, exports, and imports.- Configure RFCs and web dispatchers, and troubleshoot middleware connectivity.- Manage spool servers and output devices, and troubleshoot printing subsystems.Support & Disaster Recovery : - Provide Tier 2/3 technical support, perform root-cause analysis (RCA), and log incidents with SAP Support (OSS).- Plan and test disaster recovery, and manage high-availability environments and business continuity plans.Required Qualifications : - Deep technical knowledge of SAP Solution Manager (SolMan v7.2 preferred) and ChaRM.- Experience administering HANA databases and operating in cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.- Robust troubleshooting abilities and clear technical documentation skills.- Hands-on familiarity with Linux, Windows, and Unix operating systems.- Knowledge of database management technologies including SAP HANA and Oracle, and SAP tools such as Solution Manager and HANA Studio.Key Success Factors : - Strong ownership of SAP BASIS operations and technical issue resolution.- Ability to manage SAP transports and change processes with appropriate governance and audit compliance.- Proactive system monitoring, performance optimization, and maintenance discipline.- Effective coordination with functional teams, developers, and SAP Support.
