Key Duties and Responsibilities
Examine patients, assess symptoms, and diagnose medical conditions.
Prescribe appropriate medications, investigations, and treatment plans.
Provide emergency medical care and stabilize patients when required.
Monitor patients' progress and modify treatment plans as necessary.
Refer patients to specialists or higher-level healthcare facilities when indicated.
Maintain accurate patient medical records, prescriptions, and clinical documentation.
Ensure compliance with infection prevention, patient safety, and hygiene protocols.
Participate in health education, disease prevention, and community health activities.




Monitor and report communicable diseases and other notifiable conditions as required.
Follow applicable medical ethics, qualified standards, and legal requirements.
Ensure the proper use of medical equipment and availability of essential medicines.
