Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented General Ledger (R2R) Process Associate to support Record-to-Report (R2R) operations, month-end closing, journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of accounting principles and hands-on experience in general ledger activities.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform month-end and period-end closing activities in accordance with established timelines.

- Prepare, review, and post journal entries, including accruals and provisions.

- Conduct balance sheet account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.

- Maintain accurate general ledger accounts and supporting documentation.

- Assist in preparing financial reports and accounting schedules.

- Identify and resolve outstanding accounting items and reconciliation differences.

- Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation.

- Ensure compliance with accounting policies, internal controls, and SOX requirements.

- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to resolve accounting-related queries.

- Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and operational efficiency.

Mandatory Skills





- 3–5 years of experience in R2R, General Ledger, or Financial Accounting.

- Hands-on experience in month-end closing and journal entries.

- Experience in balance sheet reconciliations.

- Knowledge of accruals, provisions, and financial reporting.

- Strong understanding of accounting principles.

- Proficiency in MS Excel, including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics 365, or similar ERP systems.

- Exposure to SOX controls and audit processes.

- Experience working in shared services or multinational organizations.

- Knowledge of intercompany accounting and fixed assets.

- ACCA, CIMA, ACA, or an equivalent accounting qualification, completed or pursuing.
