Role Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented Spanish Payroll Specialist to manage end-to-end payroll processing, maintain accurate employee records, ensure compliance with applicable regulations, and resolve payroll-related queries. The ideal candidate should have Spanish language fluency, payroll or HRIS experience, and a good understanding of Spanish payroll regulations.

Key Responsibilities

- Process payroll for hourly and salaried employees according to client pay calendars and schedules.

- Review and validate timekeeping records, payroll adjustments, and employee information changes.

- Calculate wages, overtime, bonuses, deductions, and applicable taxes accurately.

- Maintain payroll records in compliance with statutory requirements and country/site regulations.

- Respond to employee payroll inquiries and resolve discrepancies within defined timelines.

- Coordinate with HR teams on new hires, terminations, benefits, and employee updates.

- Collect, calculate,



and enter payroll data while maintaining data accuracy and confidentiality.

- Review and analyze end-to-end payroll processing through completion.

Mandatory Requirements

- Fluency in Spanish is essential.

- 2–4 years of experience in payroll systems, payroll processing, and/or HRIS platforms.

- Experience with payroll systems such as ADP, Paychex, Deel, SAP, Workday, or similar platforms is preferred.

- Good understanding of Spanish payroll regulations, including:

- IRPF (Personal Income Tax)

- Seguridad Social (Social Security Contributions)

- Statutory benefits

- Collective bargaining agreements (Convenios)

- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.

- Ability to manage deadlines in a demanding work environment.

- High standards of professionalism and confidentiality.

- Robust written and verbal communication skills.

Good to Have

- Multicountry payroll exposure, including the US, Canada, UK, Switzerland, Malaysia, UAE, Saudi Arabia, or other countries.
