Job Title: Technical Lead – IoT Platform Location: New Delhi

Job Summary

We are looking for a hands-on Technical Lead to drive the architecture, development, and delivery of an IoT software platform. The candidate should have strong backend expertise, IoT experience, and the ability to lead a team while actively contributing to coding and system design.

Key Responsibilities

Own end-to-end architecture and development of the IoT platform, including device communication, backend services, APIs, and data pipelines.

Design scalable, reliable systems for real-time data processing from GPS trackers and connected devices.

Lead and mentor 7–10 engineers while remaining hands-on with coding, code reviews, and system design.

Drive sprint planning, technical delivery, production deployments, monitoring, and troubleshooting.

Collaborate with hardware, firmware, product, and customer teams on integrations and technical solutions.

Ensure system security, performance, scalability, and reliability.

Required Skills & Experience

- 10+ years of software development experience, including 2–3 years in a technical leadership role.
- Strong hands-on backend development experience in Node.js .




- Experience with IoT or connected-device platforms , TCP/UDP, and socket programming.
- Knowledge of real-time data processing using RabbitMQ, Redis, or similar technologies.
- Strong experience with MongoDB, AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, microservices, and REST APIs.
- Good understanding of distributed systems, system design, and secure device communication.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex production issues and lead a team in a fast-paced environment.

Valuable to Have

Experience with GPS tracking, telematics, geofencing, BLE, LoRa, or logistics technology.

Familiarity with geospatial tools, map APIs, and hardware/firmware integration.

Frontend/mobile knowledge and enterprise client integration experience.

Ideal Candidate

A hands-on technical leader with a strong ownership mindset, comfortable working in a high-pressure, 24x7 product environment and managing business-critical systems.

Interview Process

- Technical Round: 2-hour in-person interview with the CTO, including live coding and a case study. Candidates must bring their laptop.
- Managerial Round: Optional discussion with senior management or a founding team member.
