Role Overview

TCS is looking for an experienced Procurement & Vendor Master Lead to manage transactional procurement and vendor master operations. The role involves purchase requisition validation, purchase order processing, vendor coordination, stakeholder management, reporting, and ensuring SLA-driven procurement operations while maintaining data quality, compliance, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

- Validate purchase requisitions and convert approved requests into Purchase Orders (POs).

- Manage end-to-end Purchase Order processing, confirmations, amendments, and expediting.

- Validate approvals, supporting documents, and checklists before PO dispatch.

- Coordinate with buyers, requesters, suppliers, and stakeholders.

- Resolve procurement and vendor-related queries.

- Monitor procurement reports and transaction status.

- Identify, investigate, and resolve processing exceptions.

- Escalate operational issues where required.

- Ensure SLA, TAT, quality,



and accuracy targets are consistently achieved.

- Maintain procurement documentation and process compliance.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- 5–10 years of experience in Procurement and Vendor Master Operations.

- Experience in Transactional Procurement and Vendor Management.

- Strong Purchase Order (PO) Processing knowledge.

- Working knowledge of SAP ERP.

- Robust communication and stakeholder management skills.

- Analytical thinking and problem-solving ability.

- Proficiency in MS Office.

- Team management experience.
