Position Summary
MedSciX is seeking an experienced Consultant Dermatologist for an opportunity with a healthcare organization in the Caribbean. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive dermatological care, including the diagnosis, treatment, and long-term management of a broad range of skin, hair, and nail conditions.
The position requires strong clinical expertise, procedural competency, excellent patient communication skills, and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities
Provide specialist consultations for a broad range of dermatological conditions.
Diagnose and manage acute, chronic, and complex skin, hair, and nail disorders.
Manage conditions including acne, eczema, psoriasis, dermatitis, skin infections, pigmentation disorders, and other dermatological diseases.
Evaluate suspicious skin lesions and support the diagnosis and management of skin cancers.
Perform dermatological procedures including skin biopsies, excisions, cryotherapy, electrocautery, and other minor procedures within the physician's scope of practice.
Develop individualized treatment and long-term follow-up plans.
Provide expert clinical guidance for complex dermatology cases.
Educate patients regarding treatment options, preventive skin care, and long-term disease management.
Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care.




Maintain accurate clinical documentation and adhere to applicable clinical, ethical, and regulatory standards.
Participate in clinical quality improvement, continuing medical education, and professional development activities.
Qualifications & Experience
MBBS/MD or equivalent recognized medical qualification.
Postgraduate specialization in Dermatology – MD/DNB or equivalent recognized specialist qualification.
Minimum 5 years of relevant clinical experience in Dermatology.
Board certification or specialist registration in Dermatology, where applicable.
Current medical registration and good professional standing.
Eligible and willing to obtain medical registration/licensure in the applicable Caribbean jurisdiction.
Strong English communication skills.
Willingness to relocate to the Caribbean.
