Business Analyst :Key Responsibilities :- Engage with business stakeholders to understand objectives, challenges, and requirements.- Gather, analyse, document, and validate business and functional requirements.- Prepare Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), Functional Requirement Documents (FRDs), user stories, use cases, and process flows.- Translate business requirements into clear specifications for development and implementation teams.- Collaborate with product managers, developers, QA engineers, project managers, and business teams.- Analyse existing business processes and identify opportunities for optimisation, automation, and improvement.- Conduct gap analysis, impact assessments, and root-cause analysis to support business decisions.- Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, backlog refinement, and requirement prioritisation, where applicable.- Support solution design, functional testing, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and defect resolution.- Validate delivered solutions against business requirements and acceptance criteria.- Prepare reports, dashboards, and analytical insights to support decision-making.- Manage stakeholder communication, requirement changes, dependencies, and project documentation.- Support implementation, deployment, and post-production enhancements.Required Skills & Experience :- 5 - 10 years of experience in Business Analysis, Functional Analysis, or a related role.- Solid expertise in requirements gathering, documentation, stakeholder management, and process mapping.- Experience preparing BRDs, FRDs, user stories, use cases,



and acceptance criteria.- Strong analytical, logical reasoning, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.- Ability to translate business needs into functional and technical specifications.- Experience collaborating with cross-functional business and technology teams.- Understanding of SDLC, Agile/Scrum, and software development processes.- Experience with UAT, test scenarios, defect tracking, and solution validation.- Strong communication, presentation, and documentation skills.- Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Excel, Visio, or equivalent platforms.Preferred Qualifications :- Experience in digital transformation, enterprise applications, SaaS products, or technology implementation projects.- Knowledge of SQL, data analysis, reporting tools, or BI platforms.- Exposure to APIs, system integrations, workflow automation, or data flows.- Experience with process modelling, BPMN, or other business process documentation techniques.- Domain experience in BFSI, IT, consulting, e-commerce, healthcare, or other relevant industries.- Relevant bachelor's or master's degree in Business, Technology, Engineering, Finance, or Management.Ideal Candidate Profile :- Able to connect business objectives with technical solutions.- Comfortable working with both business stakeholders and engineering teams.- Strong at structured problem-solving, data interpretation, and process improvement.- Capable of managing multiple requirements and driving projects towards successful delivery.
