Responsibilities

This role will report to the Senior Solution Engineer

As the Senior Solution Engineer, you will:

- Handle F5 pre-sales activities, including customer meetings, technical presentations and solution demonstrations.
- Understand customer requirements and design appropriate F5 solutions.
- Conduct POCs, technical workshops and solution validation.
- Prepare HLD/LLD, BOM, technical proposals and RFP/RFI responses.
- Provide technical expertise on F5 BIG-IP LTM, WAF, DNS, APM, AFM and Distributed Cloud solutions.
- Support F5 implementation, configuration, migration, integration and troubleshooting.
- Work on application delivery, load balancing, SSL/TLS, high availability and traffic management requirements.
- Support F5 upgrades, migrations and performance optimization.
- Coordinate with F5 OEM, sales, partners and customer technical teams for technical discussions and escalations.
- Provide customer training and knowledge-transfer sessions.
- Identify opportunities for F5 Professional Services, implementation, migration and managed services.

Qualifications and Experience

The ideal Senior Solution Engineer:

- Qualification achelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- 3-6 years of experience in network security,



application delivery, or cybersecurity solutions.
- Strong hands-on knowledge of F5 BIG-IP technologies.
- Experience with F5 BIG-IP LTM, DNS, Advanced WAF, APM and AFM is preferred.
- Positive understanding of TCP/IP, routing, switching, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, SSL/TLS and network security.
- Experience in F5 pre-sales, POC, solution design, implementation and troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of load balancing, application delivery, high availability and traffic management.
- Experience working with enterprise and multi-vendor network environments.
- Exposure to F5 migration, upgrades, performance tuning and integration.
- Good customer-facing, communication and technical presentation skills.
- Ability to prepare HLD/LLD, BOM, technical proposals and RFP/RFI responses.
- F5 certification such as F5-CA or F5-CTS is an added advantage.
- Experience with F5 Distributed Cloud, automation/API and cloud environments will be an added advantage.
