About the Role

Bombay Kulfi is looking for an experienced Food & Beverage professional who can independently manage all product preparation and serving activities at our ice cream parlour.

The candidate should ideally have previous experience working in an ice cream parlour, dessert shop, café, QSR or similar food-service establishment.

The person must be capable of handling the complete product menu, including ice cream serving, Kulfi preparation and serving, milkshakes, Faloodas, waffles and other dessert preparations.

Company-specific product and operational training will be provided.

Key Responsibilities

1. Ice Cream & Kulfi Handling

- Serve ice creams in cups and waffle cones, including double scoops.
- Cut and serve Kulfi slices in the prescribed portion sizes.
- Handle Kulfi sticks and maintain the correct storage temperature in dedicated freezers.
- Ensure ice creams and Kulfi products are stored and handled according to prescribed temperature requirements.
- Replenish G-pan (Gastronorm pan) containers as and when required.
- Ensure product availability and presentation throughout operating hours.

2. Food & Beverage Preparation

The candidate should be capable of independently preparing the following products after company training:

- Milkshakes using the prescribed ice cream flavours and toppings.
- Traditional Faloodas.
- Freshly prepared waffles and waffle-based desserts.
- Waffle cones during non-peak hours.
- Sundaes and other dessert combinations.
- Hot chocolate and other menu-based preparations.
- Additional toppings and product customisations as per customer requirements.

3. Shop Upkeep & Hygiene

- Maintain cleanliness of the serving counter, preparation area,



equipment and freezers.
- Ensure all ingredients, toppings and consumables are properly organised.
- Follow food safety, hygiene and storage practices.
- Maintain the cleanliness of waffle-making equipment and other preparation tools.
- Ensure proper stock rotation and minimise product wastage.

4. Operational Readiness

- Prepare waffle cones and other requirements during non-peak hours.
- Ensure all G-pans, Kulfi sticks, slices, toppings and ingredients are replenished before peak hours.
- Maintain readiness to handle high customer volumes efficiently.
- Coordinate with the Shop Manager to ensure uninterrupted customer service.

5. Customer Service

- Serve customers courteously and efficiently.
- Understand the menu and explain product options to customers.
- Ensure correct portion sizes, presentation and consistency.
- Handle multiple customer orders during peak hours without compromising quality.

Candidate Profile

- Minimum 1–2 years of experience in the Food & Beverage industry.
- Prior experience in an ice cream parlour, dessert outlet, café, bakery or QSR is preferred.
- Practical experience in preparing milkshakes, Faloodas, waffles and desserts is highly desirable.
- Should be comfortable operating ice cream machines, blenders, waffle makers and commercial freezers.
- Knowledge of food hygiene, freezer management and stock rotation.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
- Energetic, disciplined, hygienic and customer-friendly.

Important Requirement

The candidate should be capable of independently handling the complete dessert preparation and serving operations after company-provided training.

We are not looking for a general helper. We need a hands-on Food & Beverage qualified who understands dessert preparation and can independently operate the product counter.
