The Pharmacist cum Staff Nurse will play a dual role involving both pharmacy management and patient care duties. The candidate should possess basic knowledge of medicines, dosage, and hospital nursing practices.
Key Responsibilities:Pharmacy Duties:
- Dispense prescribed medicines accurately to patients.
- Maintain and manage medicine inventory, expiry checks, and stock records.
- Counsel patients on proper medicine usage and dosage.
- Ensure compliance with pharmacy laws and hospital policies.
Nursing Duties:
- Provide patient care under the guidance of doctors.
- Administer medications, injections, and IV drips as per prescription.
- Monitor patient conditions and report any changes to the doctor.
- Assist in dressing wounds, maintaining hygiene, and basic medical procedures.
- Maintain patient records and assist in OPD/IPD management.
